One of my resolutions for 2011 was to try new things. SO, when my beautiful ballerina friend asked if I would take an adult beginning ballet class with her, I signed up! I am TERRIBLE!! but it is so fun. Today I even bought my own ballet shoes. When I told another friend of mine about how clueless I was in my first (and subsequent) class, she sent me this video. Hilarious!

When the Smith family gets together, we have a traditional hand/table thingy that we do. This takes our "thing" to a whole new level!  This is what we'll have to practice at your place, Kelly. 

Show Choir Competition at Disneyland

Matt and Alex were in Show Choir this year at school. They just finished their big Show Choir Competition at Disneyland and came in third! Wooo Hooo! So fun. Alex is in the front on the right end. I couldn't see Matt from my seat very well - you can see him come across the stage at one point. It was great!

Bought this...love it

I loved this version of the song, so I bought it off itunes and I can't stop listening to it. Plus it is for a good cause so win, win :)

It is so good! I switched the raisins for chocolate chips and walnuts and added a bit of cinnamon. Yum.

A flashback to my childhood in Canada on Saturday mornings...

My brother just texted me to see if I remembered this CRAZY kids show that was on Saturday mornings. It was called The Hilarious House of Frightenstein. I always wondered as I watched it at the age of 7, or 8..."Should I be watching this?" We only got about 5 channels or so, so this must have been the only 'kids' show on. This show was nuts. Take a peek at one of my 'favorite' characters (or should I say memorable?).
