I was talking to my sister on the phone this morning as she told me about her basement disaster. A neighbor tried to fix a pinhole sized hole in her basement water pipe WITHOUT TURNING OFF THE WATER FIRST ???? Anyways, a flood was inevitable. Nobody knew where to turn the water off - not even the owner! An hour and a half later, they turned it off. And had a major mess to clean up. About 30 of their ward members came and helped and got it all cleaned up...phew. Then her son threw up. Sophie overheard my conversation and then my retelling of the events to Steve. She thought Auntie Kelly needed a fundraiser!
So she made these sun catchers and orange juice to sell. Alex helped her make a sign and they are outside as I type this. So far they have earned $7.00 for Kelly's (?) basement?
