Happy Birthday Steve! Yes, that is 38 year old Steve with a free sample of salami in hand. So when I asked Steve what he wanted to do for his birthday, he replied, "Big Lots and Costco." Not exactly what I had in mind, but not a surprise either. Steve is a "projects" guy and today, he decided he wanted to look for inexpensive home improvements. So we packed up the girls (Matt went to a friend's birthday) and to Big Lots we went. The girls found tons of cool things - which we didn't buy - and Steve had fun as well looking for 'treasures'. Costco was conveniently right next door so off we went. Costco isn't a bad place to have a birthday party if you want to save some cash. Free appetizers, crazy people...fun! Did you catch the 'swiper' who sneaked the last corn dog right out from Sophie's nose? Love Costco. (Just so you know we aren't TOTAL party poopers, Steve and I did go to the temple and dinner the night before:)
