January beginnings

 As I write this I am listening to my two girls (both painting downstairs) listening to music as they work on their projects.  An Usher song came on a little while ago.

Sophie:  This is good.

Alex:  What, the song?

Sophie:  Yeah. (pause) It would be better if Justin Bieber was singing it, but...(silence)

Steve is home today working on his own project...

I'm not sure where he stepped out to, but I know he has big plans to finish this today.   YAY!!

Is it even possible to say on the 2nd of January that it has been a tough year already?  

These are from my brother.  Love him!
