Seriously! I can't believe she is 8 years old. She was the best Mother's Day gift a mom could get - born on May 12, 2002. Right before church on Mother's Day, I was off to the hospital and within 30 minutes, she was born. She gets baptized on Saturday...where did the time go?
Here is her "first picture being 8!" picture. This tradition is getting less and less fun for the kids - but it is a tradition so we must keep on!!
She quickly got dressed and opened up her presents.
Kim Jensen made these AWESOME cookies for her little get together after school. They were so pretty I didn't want anyone to eat them!
She took a few friends to Build A Bear and had so much fun.
Miss Awesome Autie and Mr. Max came by afterwards and gave Sophie a baptism flower headband that she made! How cool is that!! 
The family didn't get home from mutual and all of the other weekday activities until after 8...but we waited and had cake as a late bedtime snack. Sophie had a great day, and crashed pretty quick. Happy Birthday my big girl!!
