Sophie 2009

This post is simply for my reflection on Sophie for the year. Sophie turned 7 this year and I can't believe how fast she is growing up! She lost her two front teeth this year...I loved it! The big ones grew in too fast. We recently found out that Sophie has permanent hearing loss from when she was young with a chronic ear infection - but that doesn't stop her from anything she likes to do! She just finished her second Christmas piano recital and did a great job. Sophie was able to get a part on our friend's show, Yo Gabba Gabba this year. She normally is quite shy around a camera - but not this time!
Sophie is looking forward to the next swim season and is going to try soft ball this spring (thanks Daryll for the glove!) She is the little helper of the house - always wanting to lend a hand in any project we undertake. She loves babies and has found a new "pet" in our friend's little girl, Ivy. Ivy is just like a little doll and Sophie can't get enough. We sure love our little Sophie (I guess she's not so little any more).
