Sophie turns 7 today! Of course she wishes her birthday was on a Saturday, but she was still excited once she woke up and realized she was 'finally' seven years old - even if it was a school day :)
Here she is emerging from her bedroom to find us singing "Happy Birthday" in our best 7:00 am voices and taking the traditional first-picture-being-whatever-age-you-are-turning photo. She came around the corner a bit confused from sleeping and asked "Why did you take a picture?" As soon as she woke up, she wasn't as camera shy.
She loves fruit, so her birthday breakfast was an all-you-can-eat fruit buffet (in other words, strawberries, oranges and a half a grapefruit).
Then she opened her presents - a bit of a Barbie theme here.
