I had to post this because it made me laugh :) It was time to say the closing prayer for family home evening before we went to Golden Spoon (I am lovin' that right now). Matt gave the lesson and asked Sophie to give the closing prayer. Right before the prayer, Alex asked me to tweeze her eyebrows. So I did. She started to cry a bit. Sophie then began her prayer:
Sophie: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this family home evening. Please help Alex to stop crying.
Matt and Alex: Laughter
Sophie: Now please bless Matt and Alex to stop laughing
Matt and Alex: More laughter.
Sophie: I SAID PLEASE!! In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
