I love the fascination little ones have with nature and creepy crawly things, or in this case, a little butterfly.
The girls were playing dress up, and catching bugs and butterflies, until they came across this butterfly that would not fly. They immediately stopped their games to take care of this little thing. They tenderly passed it back and forth, with such gentleness.
They made a home for it, nestled it in flower petals and gave it some grass to eat. I loved watching them nurture this little bug together.
