our birds and a few scenes from summer youth conference

When a pair of swallows built this nest above our front door, I didn't realize how much of a commitment we were making when we let them stay.

These three babies took a long time to hatch, and then grow.

And these guys make A MESS.

But they sure are cute.

Anywho, Matt and Alex had a blast at summer youth conference.  

I only got a few shots of all the fun they had.

It really was wonderful.

Along with workshops and a trip to the Los Angeles temple, the kids played at the beach, 

camped and danced, 

and went roller skating.  

These kids grow up so fast.  

Oh yes, and they had a pool party/slip and slide at their friend's house.  

I love youth conference.
