Steve is awesome.
In our apartment, he put together something like this for the kids so we could all be online at the same time and be together more often. He lovingly coined it "the internet cafe." It wasn't cute, but we loved it! He wanted to reproduce the internet cafe in our new house, but actually make it cute. He did it!

He has been working on this in the little bit of free time he gets. The top is made from beams that we took off of the walls when we moved in. He refinished them and stuck them together somehow to make this desk for the kids! Then he found two VERY UGLY sets of drawers at a going out of business furniture shop and refinished them to make the bottom half. All he needs to do is make a center piece to hide cords and a printer. Love him.
