What a busy week! My sister leaves tomorrow (sniff) and we are having so much fun visiting and playing, and baking!
Jude helps me in the kitchen. He has thought of lots of treats to make. The first one we made were these bird nests. I have a Christmas wreath cookie recipe (think rice krispie treats with corn flakes) that we made bird nests out of. Then we dropped a chocolate mini egg in the middle to complete the bird nest.
They were a hit! The kids loved them. I even used them in my YW lesson on self reliance (it was a stretch, but it worked.)
